Travel and Accommodation on Mull – How to get here!

Hey there, if you’re looking to explore the wild side of the Isle of Mull, you’ve come to the right place! Wildlifeonmull is your go-to escorted travel company based right here on the island. We’re all about showing off the amazing natural wildlife that calls Mull home, and we can’t wait to take you on an adventure.

Although we are based at Ulva Ferry our tours will normally start from Salen, Pickups can be arranged from Craignure, Salen, or Tobermory with sufficient numbers, as well as being able to work along with the Calmac Ferry timetable by prior arrangement.

We take tours out all week except Saturdays, please contact us for additional information or to request a booking on our web page Here.

Getting to Mull:

Now, getting to Mull is part of the fun! You’ve got a few options. You can hop on one of the car/foot passenger ferries to the Island from the Mainland. There are three routes:
Oban to Craignure (Mull),
Lochaline to Fishnish (Mull),
Ardnamurchan to Tobermory (Mull).

Once you’re on the island, you can catch a bus on the main routes, or if you want more flexibility, you can hire a car in Tobermory. Pro tip: Book your car early, especially in the summer months!
Or hey, let us pick you up from the ferry and kickstart your day bright and early!

Exploring Mull:

We’re based at Ulva Ferry, although that’s not where we start. Instead, our tour usually starts in Salen, Mull.
But don’t worry if you’re already staying on the Island —we can often arrange pickups from Craignure, Salen, or Tobermory.
And if you’re without wheels, we’ve got you covered. Just give us a heads-up, and if we can we’ll collect you from Tobermory, Salen, Fishnish, or Craignure.
