Join us on WildlifeonMull Tours. A wildlife and scenic tour operator based at Ulva ferry on the Isle of Mull.
Your tour will be led by Andrew, who has lived on The Isle of Ulva and then Mull for over 30 years. A graduate in Ecology and wildlife management, he is well qualified to make your tour an interesting, enjoyable, and memorable day.
You will be driven through the beautiful, spectacular, and sometimes dramatic scenery of Mull, along sea lochs, the foot of mountains and through wild moorland in our search for wildlife.
We aim to show you as many of the wonderful wildlife scenes and spectacular scenery which the island has become known for and many of the iconic species which inhabit them.
Don’t let inclement weather put you off, just because it is wet and windy does not mean that the wildlife goes into hiding, it just means that we have to go prepared. Make sure that you bring warm and waterproof clothing as well as suitable footwear for the day ahead.
We carry telescopes and binoculars for all of our guests, to better enjoy the views of Mull’s wonderful wildlife. We also carry a selection of reference books for bird identification.
Tea, coffee, and cold drinks will be provided throughout the day. If you are mindful you may also want to bring additional snacks or a packed lunch for a midday break.
Our minivan is spacious with plenty of legroom and good visibility as well as being dry and warm on those occasional wet days!
There is also plenty of storage space in the back for bags.
Unfortunately, our trips are not advised for children under 7 and unfortunately, no dogs are allowed.
Travel to Mull
Although we are based at Ulva Ferry and tours will normally start from there, pickups can be arranged from Craignure, Salen, or Tobermory, as well as being able to work along with the Calmac Ferry timetable by prior arrangement.
